At last! An actual photo of Zoë from summer camp. I have obsessively poured over the photo and tried to glean as much information as possible from it. I'm not sure if any of what I came up with is actually true or not but I do know that she is being fed, isn't sunburned or dead, and isn't sitting in the corner rocking back in forth while in the fetal position.
Here's what I've learned from this whole experience. Zoë can never ever enlist in the armed forces (any branch). I just don't think they post photos for loser parents such as myself and I can't handle the one way communication (we can e-mail her and send her packages but she can only mail letters, no e-mail. By the time we got her letter from camp, we would be on our way home from picking her up).
And for anyone looking at her shirt, yes, its a happy bunny shirt which I typically find inappropriate for children (although I find them hilarious and if they came in my size, I'd wear one everyday) but this one just says "where's your off button?" on the back.
Can't wait to see her photos that she has taken and get her camp debriefing tomorrow. (Is it wrong for me to really want her to be BFFs with the cute blonde girl in the green shirt sitting next to her? She just looks like good people.)
